Agnes Reynolds Jackson, affectionately known as Aggie, was a dedicated community leader who often put service above self. She founded the Fair Housing Center of Toledo and served on the Toledo Community Housing Resources Board. Actively involved with the ACLU and League of Women Voters, she was an ardent feminist who actively worked for the right to choose.
Aggie passed away in 1984. She is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. It was with the permission of her husband, Dr. Robert F. Jackson, that Toledo's abortion fund was named after Aggie. A part of her spirit lives on in the work done by the Aggie Fund.
As part of our reprOH! collection, a portion of proceeds from the sale of this yarn will go to the Agnes Reynold Jackson fund. This yarn is only available during 40 Days for Life, which runs through April 4th.
Aggie Fund, the yarn, is a tonal light grey with a deep, almost burnt orange variegation, black speckles, and a hint of pink. While we do our best to display colors, variation from skein to skein is natural and colors may seem different in real life that on your monitor.
